Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Automated Testing, writing test cases, and quality assurance processes. This role will involve validating cloud-based platforms designed for IoT and AI functionalities, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. A deep understanding of Java, Angular, React JS, MySQL, and web technologies (Apache, Tomcat) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Build test frameworks and tools for IoT and AI-driven applications.
Test Case Development:
Write, review, and maintain comprehensive test cases for both functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and identify testing needs.
Functional and Performance Testing:
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate software performance.
Ensure efficient handling of large IoT data streams through database testing (focus on MySQL).
Web Server Testing:
Test configurations and optimizations for Apache and Tomcat servers.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and address defects proactively.
Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and IoT/AI advancements.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
4–6 years of experience in automated testing and writing test cases.
Proficiency in Java, Angular, and React JS for automation testing frameworks.
Strong knowledge of MySQL for database validation and testing.
Hands-on experience with testing web technologies on Apache and Tomcat servers.
Testing Expertise:
Experience with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
Familiarity with testing IoT data streams and AI-based applications is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
